About the role: Exciting opportunity to join our team in this dual role of Phlebotomist/HRA Administrator. Full-time work hours are 7am-4pm, Mon-Fri. No nights or weekends!
Essential Functions:??
- Confirms HRA schedules, locations, start times, and coordinates travel and event arrangements.
- Prints all necessary documents for delivery to events.
- Completes requisition forms.
- Sends lab results.
- Serves as the main point of contact for patient questions and needs.
- Coordinates all courier services.
- Serves as lead for FIT testing communications.
- Assists with annual planning and managing the HRA budget.
- Assists in the health centers as needed and within scope of practice.
- Performs special projects as needed under the direction of operations management.
- Verifies patient identification with requisitions and electronic medical record (EMR) prior to performing any testing and confirms patient verbalization of name and date of birth to requisitions and open orders.
- Performs the intake of vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, respirations, height, and weight.
- Conducts biometric screens for eligible members, which may include fingerstick or venipuncture blood draws.
- Inputs medical information into the EMR and reconciles paperwork.
- Maintains specimen integrity by using aseptic technique, following department procedures, and observing isolation procedures.
- Tracks collected specimens by initialing, dating, and noting times of collection; maintains daily records for reporting and follow up for results.
- Provides emotional support to patients as needed; works to promote the patient???s comfort and assists in answering patient questions.
- Maintains quality results by following department procedures and testing schedule, recording results in the quality-control log, and identifying and reporting needed changes.
- Understands and follows all safety rules and adheres to all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) recommendations and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
- Ensures that all supplies and equipment are in working order, checked out and packaged/brought to the event.
- Coordinates or assists with setup and breakdown of events.
- Maintains a clean, neat work environment and presents a professional image at all times.
- Treats all patients, employees, customers, clients, vendors with courtesy, respect and dignity.
- Maintains strict confidentiality related to company, client, and patient information.
- Understands and follows safety and security procedures and practices preventative safety procedures as set forth by CareHere.
- Immediately reports all accidents and incidents to the immediate supervisor or Human Resources.
- Uses only equipment trained to use and operates all equipment in a safe manner.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
- Ability to travel domestically by car, air and other means as necessary.
- Executes all terms and conditions as set forth in the CareHere Employee Handbook.
Job Requirements:??
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Phlebotomy Certification AND two (2) years of phlebotomy or medical assistant experience; OR??equivalent combination of certification, training and experience in phlebotomy
Preferred Experience:????
- Two (2) or more years of relevant administrative experience
