Columbia, MO - MU Health Care (MUHC) seeks a dynamic, transformative and inspirational physician executive to serve as its next Chief Quality Officer (CQO). This is a unique leadership position at one of the most respected and expanding academic health systems in the Midwest. The CQO will strive to advance a culture of clinical excellence and high reliability across the care continuum, guiding the Organization to consistent standards of care delivery and top national performance.

The CQO will be a visible, transparent, clinically credible and decisive physician leader who fosters relationships and collaboration across the Organization. The successful candidate will be a leader with a proven record of accomplishment in driving quality and safety within a high-performing academic medical center or teaching hospital. This CQO must have knowledge and training in process improvement, change management and a dedication to utilize data to drive care improvements through systems of care and technology. An MD/DO degree (or equivalent) is required, along with completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program with current Board Certification in their specialty.
