Under general direction from CIO, accountable, direct, and oversee strategic business engagement function focusing on creating and sustaining strong business partnership in advancing business success. Responsibility includes participating in business strategic planning, identifying strategic and transformational business projects and enhancements, establishing business requirements and engaging in technical solutioning, managing business project life cycle and business expectations for both technical, timeline, and financial deliverables. Ensure that business technology aligns with the strategic objectives and long-term needs of the business. Ths is a Hybrid opportunity.
Be the primary liaison to business leadership and accountable for strong business engagement and business satisfaction.
Direct the development of business requirements needed to help the firm meet business goals and support all IT technologies and systems.
Champion the development of business engagement procedures, policies, standards and controls needed to ensure strong business alignment and maturing organization capability.
Manage Project Portfolio; select, prioritize, control through structured project in-take process.
Oversee delivery of business projects and activities with strong partnership with Application Development and Quality Assurance functions both in house and offshore. Provide expertise and leadership for large, complex business strategic projects.
Develop and manage department budget based on short and long-term goals and objectives.
Lead business case development, partnering with IT Business Operations and Application Development, for required initiatives.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics or related discipline. MBA preferred.
10-12 years' experience in large IT enterprises, five of which serving in a management or leadership position or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Proficient knowledge and in-depth understanding of how business and technical processes integration required.
Must be proficient with and know how to apply business engagement processes including requirement gathering, clear communication and expectation setting, project management, and financial management.
Must have a broad technology background experience. Understanding of Systems Development Life Cycle methodologies preferred.
Certificates and/or Licenses
Advanced knowledge and implementation experience with large scale and complex business projects. PMP/PMO certification preferred.
Ability to travel as needed, up to 10%.
