Market Security Director FT Days Position Summary
The Market Security Director maintains 24-hour accountability for operations across the Market. In collaboration with the location Security
Managers/Security Lead, directs and supervises security personnel, monitors quality and quantity of workflow, initiates and recommends
personnel actions such as hires, fires, disciplines, completes performance appraisals. Market Security Director will also manage the security
function, as a Security Manager, for a location.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to travel within the Market if needed; Ability to perform continuous physical exertion activities (going up and down
multiple flights of stairs, standing and walking for extended periods of time, carrying people in emergency situations, etc.), as needed; Must meet
all physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. Position may require an annual fitness-for-duty exam. Must be
able to perform duties wearing personal protective equipment (Masks, gowns, security-related equipment, etc.), as required; Effective written
and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective
manner; Ability to use initiative and independent judgment; Ability to frequently prepare written reports and provide quality customer service;
Ability to handle both common and crisis situations, calmly and efficiently; Must have a working knowledge of, or ability to quickly learn, security

enforcement community; Ability to manage complex projects including managing to a project timeline, acquiring and allocating resources,
ensuring quality deliverables, effective communication and program management
THE MARKET SECURITY DIRECTOR FT DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in law enforcement, security management, criminal justice or a discipline requiring high levels of
communication and analytical skill, or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Four (4) yearâ��s security management experience, two (2) years in a progressively more responsible leadership role.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Six (6) years combined security management, law enforcement or military experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Requires the ability to obtain, and maintain, appropriate state license/certifications for this
position. Crisis Intervention Certification preferred, or ability to obtain within six (6) months of start of role. Must be able to maintain certification
while in role. Must maintain a valid state driverâ��s license, with driver history that meets company standards.
