SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Directs the strategy, growth and operational objectives of the Radiology operations within the organization. Develops guidelines, processes, and procedures for assigned functional area. Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel. Makes strategic decisions based on company goals and objectives.
The percentage of time spent performing essential functions is 95%. Qualified individuals must have the ability (with or without reasonable accommodation) to perform the following duties:
Assists Senior Leaders in defining organizational goals and strategic plans. Resolves critical issues and contributes to organizational development.
Prepares and approves budgets.
Enforces company policies and ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, union contracts, environmental policies, or government regulations.
Manages the activities of first-level managers and may manage supervisors and/or individual contributors.
Ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
Responsible for hiring, firing, performance appraisals and pay reviews for staff members.
Develops guidelines, processes, and procedures for assigned functional area.
Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel.
Direct the activities of the department to obtain use of equipment, facilities, or human resources.
Analyze expenditures and other financial information to develop plans, policies, or budgets.
Collaborate with other directors or staff members to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, or objectives.
Authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property to increase efficiency and services of the department.
Work across PSH with other imaging director peers.
Ensures timely patient access to imaging needs.

A Masters degree in management or related field.
Seven (7) years of related experience required.
Five(5)years of management experience required.
A graduate of an ARRT approved radiology program.
