Call Center Sales Representative Licensed, Geisinger Health Plan (Temporary)

Responsible for building membership in the Health Plan through effective phone sales effort. Provides investigative research and appointment scheduling via cold calling and answering incoming calls.
Performs cold calls to potential enrollees of the Geisinger Health Plan to establish an appointment or sale.
Prospects may include, but not limited to, small business owners, employees of companies offering the Health Plan, individual subscribers and Medicare recipients.
Increases membership, develops and maintains liaison with clients and prospective clients via effective phone communication.
Prepares and makes presentations to employer group decision makers, clients and individuals.
Submits appropriate paperwork to ensure policies and procedures are completed and administered in a timely manner.
Stays abreast of all the Health Plan policies and changes in accordance with the Health Plan, HIPAA and Department of Insurance guidelines.
Answers incoming calls when necessary.
Provides specific information, answers questions and provides direction to prospects and clients.
Assists in servicing existing clients by various sales and service initiatives as assigned.
Interprets and follow policies and guidelines to define procedures and meet goals and deadlines.
