In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.

We are currently seeking a supervisor to lead quality assurance and process improvement. You will oversee these programs by providing ongoing training, generate scheduled reports, and represent the department on assigned committees.
The Central Processing Department (CPD) at MSK supervises the sterilization and distribution of all clinical instruments and equipment for over 25,000 surgical cases annually. We are looking for a confident, multifaceted professional who thoroughly understands central processing and can help lead our team in providing excellent service!
Under the direction of the CPD Manager, the CPD Supervisor of Training & QA will oversee all equipment specialists on all shifts assigned to the MSK main campus. You will also be responsible to plan, develop, and implement a comprehensive orientation program for CPD staff members. You will partner with other supervisors to provide individual staff training and in-service education as required.

Develop, educate, and maintain written standards relevant to the Central Sterile Processing department.
Be a role model for the Central Service profession's professional practice, demeanor, and philosophy.
Monitor staff performance and initiate actions to accurate deficiencies when vital.
Coordinate departmental work quality assurance programs and complete annual staff core proficiency assessment with the input of the departmental leadership team.
Ensure that all staff practices are in accordance with departmental policies and procedures and that departmental goals and customer needs are met.
Develop annual staff continuing education programs with input from the leadership team.
Coordinate in-service programs for all personnel ensuring that they provide the vital knowledge and skills to meet the core proficiencies of each job position.
Ensure staff is trained on all Information System applications functionality.
Serve as a liaison between department and information system, vendors, and system users.
Periodically evaluate information system functions and make recommendations regarding ongoing system use or the evaluation of new systems.
Ensure staff compliance with departmental and institutional safety and Infection Control policies and procedures.
Check equipment for accurate operation; respond to equipment breakdowns immediately by troubleshooting and/or contacting appropriate individuals for repairs; follow up to ensure resolution.
An active CRCST Certification.
Excellent Digital Literacy.
A minimum of 2 years of experience.
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education preferred.
Fulltime hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with the flexibility to cover evenings, nights, and weekends.
