Manager - Food and Nutrition Services UAB Medicine’s Food & Nutrition Services team of almost 350 people feeds more than 1,300 patients three meals per day every day. They also manage the food court at UAB Hospital and multiple dining rooms throughout the medical campus. Together, they serve approximately 4.5 million meals annually for our patients, staff, and guests. This individual’s primary responsibilities include managing patient food service production operations, working to achieve departmental financial objectives, participating in the department's Quality Improvement Program, and to interview, hire, train, evaluate, discipline, and discharge subordinate personnel as needed.
