Regions Hospital has an opportunity for an experienced nursing leader to join our Hospital Leadership Team (HLT) as the Vice President of Patient Care Services (Chief Nursing Officer). The incumbent in this position is accountable for the overall administrative leadership of hospital patient care services. This includes providing overall direction, control and planning assistance for the following departments:
The Vice President is responsible to establish and maintain standards of patient care and nursing practice wherever nursing and patient care is provided in the organization; to act as an administrative liaison with advanced practice nursing and the medical director, and to serve as the deputy hospital president. The incumbent contributes to the effectiveness and efficient operations in support of exceptional patient experience, high quality and cost-effective patient care in line with the organization's mission. This position ensures quality patient care while improving patient safety and medical error reduction as well as develops a culture of continual improvement in quality and patient safety seeking excellence in patient outcomes and minimizing hazards and harm that may result from the processes of care.

Graduation from a Nursing program.
Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Nursing, Hospital Administration or related field.
Licensed as a RN with the Minnesota Board of Nursing
Seven (7) years of progressive leadership experience in hospital or healthcare management
ANCC specialty certification in related field (e.g. Nursing administration)
