The role you’ll contribute:
The Administrative Project Manager is responsible for the overall strategic operational planning, oversight, and direction of AdventHealths’ Revenue Cycle team. This role functions as a key member of Revenue Cycle leadership team to support and execute critical initiatives and is responsible for positioning resources and processes to respond to evolving departmental goals and changes due to the landscape in healthcare. Under general and direct supervision by the VP, maintains multiple projects and process improvement plans. Manages and leads multiple projects from conception to inception with research, obtaining pertinent data, presenting, discussing, and implementing project plans, including review for quality assurance. Consistently monitors areas for process improvement to ensure optimal resolution for all assigned projects and makes appropriate recommendations. Utilizes various database sources to create support of project research and/or quality control.

Oversees and is constantly aware of project status, anticipating potential roadblocks that may affect project completion, communicating issues with all levels of Senior Leadership. Responsible to ensure projects are completed timely, remain in scope of project goal and directives, and that all quality reviews are passed in an accurate and efficient manner. Works directly with staff and multiple levels of leadership of various departments to research processes and develop the business logic needed to answer specific research questions, and develop, create, and submit the project scope.
Responsible to participate in multiple projects as required, balancing priorities by taking ownership and planning tasks related to individual projects under direction of Senior Leadership. Effectively communicates and presents to management, both internally and externally, oral, and written documentation of work performed, status of project flow, and projected outcomes and trending.
Manages office staff job results by coaching, counseling employees, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Keeps leadership informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends. Ensure we are fair, balanced, and treat others with respect while upholding professionalism. Acts as a staff resource of current information as related to building and employee matters.
Develop and implement goals, manage, and own special projects, and create/recommend initiatives to increase productivity, improve processes, and advance the overall performance of the leadership team. Responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful execution of drawings / winnings, hosted events, giveaway / gift distributions, and celebratory moments for team recognition and engagement.
Develops the design, planning, construction and maintenance of the facilities and property related matters. Responsible for developing budgets and long-range facilities plans based on company growth and future facility needs. Works in coordination with Property Management company regarding the building systems including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, cleaning, plumbing, and waste management. Monitors budgets and co-reviews contracts. Oversees contractors involved in facility projects and delivery of services. Ensures building operations comply with all local zoning laws and regulations.
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare, business administration, business management, or finance-equivalent degree or 3 years' experience in management/supervisory capacity within healthcare OR administrative/clerical support, project management, revenue cycle, or related experience.
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Healthcare Administration
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:
Certification in a quality improvement methodology/toolset such as Change Management, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
Project management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
