Tenet is hiring a Release Manager for HRIS. The Release Manager, reporting to the HRIS Director, will be responsible for managing HR systems releases across the enterprise organization, assessing system and downstream HR systems impacts, and engaging stakeholders, technology partners, and product owners.

Responsible for reviewing Oracle HCM quarterly releases for HR with the HR Oracle Managers and Oracle SMEs
Understanding release notes and any downstream/upstream/horizontal risks, opportunities, efficiencies, or impacts across HR and potentially impacted customers, employees, or groups
Reviewing any HR functional required changes, whether it is required changes in functionality or UX changes.
Aligning with the various teams on testing, assembling the appropriate testing teams, and providing sign-off on testing
Understanding and logging new functionality, aligning against HR strategic priorities and working with the various stakeholders to determine feasibility
Managing the end-to-end process for new requests and/or new delivered system functionality. This includes the intake process, assigning priority based on HR Strategic Initiatives, ensuring requirements are properly documented and the scope of work is understood, gathering estimates, and appropriate funding is received.
Managing the queue of all new work as it relates to any upgrades, fixes, adjustments, rework needing to be done systemically to meet functional and strategic imperatives, necessary business processes, policies and procedures, and compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements.
Understanding scope of testing, assembling the appropriate testing teams and providing signoff on testing.
Tracking the end-to-end processes of all new requests and initiatives for HR Systems
Working with the various teams to update any operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and/or online guided learning
Track the projects in a singular tool that affords visibility to leaders and teams in real-time and also be able to assess risk, opportunity, impacts, and more as HR projects intersect with IT, Finance, Payroll, Supply Chain, Corporate/Field HRs as we well as the lines of services and business units across Tenet Healthcare

Requirements:
Working knowledge of Oracle HCM (at least the following modules: Recruiting, Core and Absence Management) or similar HR Systems experience
5+ years managing high visibility, high impact collaborative HR and IT technology projects with a program and project management background that includes strong history of HR Service Delivery capabilities
Profound knowledge in Project Management, Release Management, and/or Business Analysis
Extensive knowledge of the end-to-end dependencies from organizational changes into the relevant downstream technology applications
Deep experience and knowledge of project management methods and techniques, preferably with certifications like PMI, PMP (project management certification) or Agile scrum certification or both
Expert technical and advisory knowledge in HR and HR IT processes and systems, preferably based on technologies such as Oracle HCM Cloud, UL (or similar Learning platform), Kronos would be an advantage
Ability to work with functional and technical stakeholders to determine requirements and drive deliverables on time
Wherewithal to know how to project manage, determine/ask/communicate who has the decision versus who has input and establish the proper nested cadences of meetings to manage, assess, create, and execute mitigating actions to address delays, errors, or increased risks
Ability to bring projects to goal and to continuously communicate throughout in the right way to the right audiences with the right tools, including a final read out and regular status updates that are cadenced, standardized, and strategic
Ability to manage the end-to-end process for releases and new engagement requests for HR
Experience with the software development lifecycle including business requirement documentation, crafting system solutions, and providing system support.
Must have functional, technical, and project and program management knowledge as well as be able to use the right tools to manage and communicate the work
Preferred
Background in process modeling and process management
Expertise in the identification and interpretation of requirements and demands of business
Experience with Payroll and Oracle Payroll is a plus
Strong consulting background
HR generalist experience
Excellent networking and interpersonal skills, across cultures, divisions, and companies
