Responsible for acting as the CMO as a mentor to physicians and medical staff within GMMSA and the FCPP Foundation. The CMO will effectively oversee the clinical practice through the Foundation in all four markets in CA. The CMO will be highly organized with extensive experience in both medical and management roles and will be responsible for giving input in to FCPP budgets and service lines, recruiting and providing input on the training healthcare physicians, ensuring that all staff adhere to safety standards, reviewing and discussing FCPP contracts and grants, and ensuring the delivery of the highest quality of medical care.
Responsibilities
Prepares documents for initiating, monitoring, and closing out visits with sponsors; maintains compliance with procedures; provides physician with study mandated criteria; coordinates care to include evaluation of patient eligibility and registration of patients; assists in the development of data collection tools.
Education
Required: Medical Degree with current CA licensure
Preferred: Master�s degree in Business or Healthcare
Experience
Required: At least 10 years of experience in a related field such as physician relations, network development, medically-related sales, or a similar role in a hospital or other healthcare setting, preferably from Tenet or a company with a robust ethics and compliance program. Experience in practice management/marketing a plus.
