The Chief of Medicine will serve as leader of the facility Medicine service. The incumbent will have supervisory responsibility for all medical subspecialty section chiefs and oversee medicine clinical services including provider hiring, access to care, patient experience/satisfaction, quality of care, SAIL, and other related metrics for clinical care of Veterans. Will also work closely with facility and VISN leadership to ensure quality and safety of care provided within the medicine service.
