Atlantic Health System is seeking a Director of Medical Imaging at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ. The position will manage of all imaging modalities CT, MRI,NM, US, IR, DX, Mammography, Radiology Support Services as well as 3 OP full Imaging Centers.The position will involve full time hours and the need to be on-call after hours to support the team and services required by department.
Support imaging for several Orthopedic offices under Atlantic Medical Group (AMG).
Responsible for fiscal accountability, productivity, and Patient Experience Goals/objectives.
Responsible for operations, staff management , budget and quality and performance metrics.
Partners with Chair to develop department goals & objectives and plans to achieve those goals.
Works with departmental, hospital and system leadership to develop and implement long and short range business plans.
Plans the use of department space and equipment to both maximize utilization of square footage and patient flow.
Ensures successful 24/7 operation of key assets in the hospital.
Ensures adherence to policies regarding accreditation standards from ACR, FDA, & Joint Commission.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience; master's degree preferred
New Jersey State License required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification required
American Healthcare Radiology Association (AHRA) preferred
Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) preferred
Minimum of 7-10 years of leadership and management experience
Minimum of 7-10 years technical experience in Radiology
Knowledge of federal, state & local regulations required
