The Antimicrobial Stewardship Program (ASP) Manager is a highly-trained medication management expert, serving as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist (CPS) and consultant in highly complex, clinical scenarios, collaborating with healthcare providers to ensure safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of antimicrobial medications throughout the facility. The ASP Manager serves as the site's Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacy Champion under VHA Directive 1031.
