Serves as the Liaison between medical oncology, radiation oncology and referring physician offices as well as BMC operations, and regulatory agencies; Manages dictation and transcription functions for both office practices. Manages physician schedules for work, vacation and on-call. Leads monthly practice operation meetings for Medical and Radiation Oncology providers. Manages physician office practice operations for Radiation Oncology. Serves as the Liaison between radiation oncology, and referring physician offices as well as BMC operations, and regulatory agencies; Manages dictation and transcription functions for the office practice. Manages physician schedules for work, vacation and on-call. Leads monthly practice operation meetings for Radiation Oncology providers. Manages administrative support staff of the Tunnell Cancer Center operations including patient access functions, appointment and procedure scheduling, insurance verification, authorizations, coding, radiation, medical oncology and infusion. Monitors productivity and makes adjustments to work flow as needed. Coaches and counsels employees on productivity standards. Functions as patient advocate/resource in matters of patient care, services and billing; promotes positive perception of Tunnell Cancer Center and Beebe Medical Center. Assists Director with the patient complaint resolution process.
