Provide essential supports for the success of the well-being initiatives, including their objectives and studies, led by the Principal Investigator, including Mayerson Child Well-being Initiative (MCWI) and Collective Well-being Equity Learning Lab (CollectiveWELL).
REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Management Support and execute on strategies and tactics across all aspects of the program. Identify, lead, and direct process improvement activities; measure and maintain program outcomes. Create processes and collaborations relevant to program stakeholders, with a high degree of attention to advancing and sustaining meaningful co-design and co-production as well as distributive leadership and shared power as integral to the work. Lead and coordinate integration of activities, inside and outside the organization.
Process/Quality Improvement Identify, develop, and implement new methods, processes, and systems to improve and facilitate the work, in alignment with the mission and principles of the initiatives. Identify and recommend procedures to maintain a high level of effectiveness in daily operations. Participate in leadership activities to align within the division and team, across engaged institutions, and strategically plan for future. Identify, lead, and provide oversight of process improvement activities; measure and maintain program outcomes; facilitate the work.
Operations Mgmt. Direct and coordinate the daily operations of the programs in collaboration with leadership. Create and maintain workplans to ensure initiative objectives are met, grants submitted, studies conducted, and papers and other communications published. Provide oversight of planning and execution of convenings, from small focus and/or working group convenings to large network gatherings, to ensure that they are created and produced in alignment with the mission and principles of the initiatives. Communicate with initiative and study team members as needed to advance relationships and the work.
Conduct Research
Actively contribute to research efforts, including but not limited to completing literature and landscape reviews, conducting qualitative analysis, and performing policy analysis, with opportunities to present results locally and nationally.
Publish/Communication Draft, write, and edit scientific reports, papers, journal articles, and abstracts; community briefs and reports; and policy briefs. Coordinate with communications support to maintain and update external facing website. Maintain social media presence for initiatives through strategic communication efforts. Present at local, national, and international meetings.
Teamwork Maintain an integral role in team meetings, presentations, and publications. Present information on the initiatives and the work to others at internal and external meetings. Demonstrate attendance and punctuality, ability to work independently & display initiative and dedication.
Grant, Data, and Financial Management Provide support in the preparation and submission of pre- and post-awards materials for external and internal funding, including drafting and revising content for grant applications. In collaboration with Grants Coordinator, serve as a liaison between the PI and subcontract sites in matters related to requested documents. Provide guidance to PI in relation to required attachments or documentation required by the sponsor. Assist with special projects, reports, and correspondence as related to grant acquisition. Develop and manage annual operating budgets or provide direction as needed in collaboration with Business Director(s) and Grants Coordinator. Implement and/or maintain a process for financial controls.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a related field
2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline
