The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is in the Surgery Service line (Perioperative Services) and is responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to staff under the leadership of the Nurse Manager (NM). In collaboration with the NM, serves as a supervisor and assumes accountability for the unit's operational function. This includes managing staff scheduling, unit coverage, and support to NM and staff to achieve related performance measures and Joint Commission compliance for the unit. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
