As the Director of Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for creating and executing revenue growth strategy for CVRx products in select IDN, GPO, and Key Accounts.
You will be responsible for executing business plans leading to revenue generation via new product introductions and existing product and products lines, compliance management, and strong relationship building with all key decision makers (Economic and Clinical) in targeted accounts.
You will be expected to create plans to implement CVRx product sales and revenue generation in targeted accounts involving all internal stakeholders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute key account strategy to achieve revenue objectives - identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities.
Develop and execute account strategy to achieve revenue objectives in targeted accounts.
Develop and implement IDN, GPO account, and Key Account sales strategy and tactical execution for new opportunities and existing accounts. Provide feedback to teams internally around customer value prop, competitive landscape, etc.
Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers in prospective and existing accounts.
Represent CVRx strategically and relative to the competition, by staying current on competition and industry trends.
Effectively engage with key partners, IDN’s and channel partners to drive new sales and increase profitability for assigned customers.
Establish and maintain client communications and requirements ensuring solutions meet needs and stated goals of customer, as well as CVRx.
Outline, prepare and deliver proposals addressing clients’ technical, financial and operational needs and concerns while achieving positive returns for the customer and the company.
Work collaboratively with clinical operations staff and management in transitioning projects from conception to implementation.
Coordinate strategic account strategic and tactical activities with our existing teams in our four different business segments.
Lead the management of the sales pipeline and accurately forecast to meet revenue attainment goals.
Implement account management short/mid/long term strategy to improve business and patient outcome.
Create and implement meaningfully impact the company’s short-term and long-term success.
Education and Experience
Required:
Minimum of 5 years’ key account management experience in the medical device industry.
Bachelor's Degree required; MBA preferred.
Sales experience in the healthcare industry is required. (Cardiovascular field is a plus).
Experience working with key decision-making levels in the healthcare industry (preferably large hospitals).
Proven success.
Solid network.
Strategic thinking, planning, and execution skills.
Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales targets.
Self-starter, ability to perform effectively during times of ambiguity, rapid change and growth.
Experience in navigating complex hierarchies and complicated internal relationships at large healthcare systems.
Subject matter expert in health care, health systems, and technology.
Ability to travel to client locations as necessary (approximately 50% travel).

Strong medical device sales account management acumen.

Up to 80% travel.
