SUMMARY: Reporting to the Vice President of Ancillary Services this position has overall responsibility of Plant Engineering, Plant Maintenance, Tool Room, Off Site Engineering (Infrastructure Utilities), life safety, emergency management, and environmental services including the development of short and long term strategies to achieve required regulatory and legal standards associated with these areas. Chairs the Environment of Care Committee, manages the Fire Safety Management Plan, the Utility Management Plan, and the Life Safety Management Plan. Responsible for long range planning, financial operational performance of the above services and promoting cost containment. Ensures equipment is operated and maintained within the guidelines of federal, state and local agencies. Administers employee performance management and ensures compliance with applicable safety training.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination or experience and education as well as a valid California Driver's License with an acceptable DMV record. Certification in CHPA, CPP, CSP, WSP CSM are preferred. Minimum three (3) years management experience with five (5) years related experience required.
