The Risk Manager is organizationally responsible to the Risk Management. The purpose of the Risk Management Office is to help protect VAMHCS from risk specific to the medical facility for patients, staff, and others. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met. - (NOTE: This applies to the past, current, and upcoming VA Health Professional Trainees (HPT) only.
