In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.
*Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.
Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.
We're excited to recruit for a ClinicalDirector to join our Radiology Department in supporting the nation's premier Radiology department! This is a rare opportunity to actively lead the daily operations of our Radiology program.
Maintain responsibility for operations, program development and expansion, and overall strategic growth planning in Radiology (advanced modalities, Radiologist Assistant Program, & General Radiology) at our sites in Manhattan, including our main hospital campus and our regional sites in NJ, Long Island, and Westchester.
Coordinate resources and staff to ensure efficient, safe and quality patient care activity.
Communicate and ensure compliance with institutional/departmental policies and procedures, quality standards and improvement initiatives, safety standards and external legal regulations.
Develop and manage budget for service areas, maintains costs within the budget and monitors variances.
Develop improvements based on continuous analysis of clinical operations, polices, systems, and procedures to ensure delivery of quality service to all patients.
Develop goals and objectives; establish and implement policies and procedures for the assigned areas of Radiology to ensure efficiency and high quality service.
Manage the design of space, equipment and allocation of staff at Main campus, and work with leadership for off-site locations.
Graduate of a 2 year AMA approved Radiology school with at least 4 years of supervisory experience.
Advanced degree a plus.
New York State Dept of Health License for Diagnostic Radiography.
Must have advanced certification (ARRT).
