The Section Chief of Ophthalmology functions primarily in the role of independent practitioner of ophthalmology. This position has broad clinical responsibilities within the eye clinic service. There are also administrative responsibilities with this position. Administratively the Section Chief will be responsible for the Ophthalmology department as well as the Optometry Department. To qualify for this position, you must meet the basic requirements as well as any additional requirements (if applicable) listed in the job announcement.
