The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for developing, achieving and maintaining the goals of a unit or department by focusing on the unit or department’s daily operations. Consistently promotes a positive work environment by being visible and available to all levels of staff and customers. Collaboratively works with nurse leaders in maintaining productivity, supporting initiatives and ensuring units/departments are appropriately staffed. Will assist in identifying staff development needs with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education.

Daily productivity, support unit/department manager with budget preparation, and expense management.
Support daily staffing plan matching competency with patient acuity, develop an understanding around the importance of relationships and support team dynamics by role modeling professional behavior.
Encourage associate participation in decision through shared governance structure.
Focus on patient safety, patient experience, and performance improvement in alignment with unit/department goals, support change management.
Support professional development to improve associate retention.
Focus on personal growth and development through involvement in professional associations and/or advancing education Know and understand your role within the leadership team of the unit/department.
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Required:
Bachelor’s degree
BSN required. Current incumbents must achieve by July 1, 2024.
Nursing Specialty Certification
2 years clinical RN experience.
RN License to practice in CO or KS as applicable.
Current BLS through American Heart Association.
Competencies to align with annual competency grid.
Must achieve and maintain professional certification within two years of becoming ANM.
Preferred:
1 year of clinical leadership.
