Candidates must possess an OD from an accredited institution, have completed residency training leading to board certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State.
Highlights of this opportunity:
Potential starting base salary range: $136,908-$177,978K
Daily schedule, Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Supervises Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, Health Technicians, and other staff as required
Responsible for Optometry service evaluation of proficiency and competency reviews using techniques of direct observation and chart reviews
Provides comprehensive eye care services, as well as follow-up care of existing conditions and management of emergency conditions
Develop and provide medical education/counseling of patients and their families with a focus on delivery of evidence based, outcomes focused and Veteran centric care
Promote contemporary patient care programs for eye clinic and surgery
