About the opportunity:This position is responsible for oversight of Howard Head front office operations and administrative analyst functions. This includes scheduling, staffing, supervision of business operations team, monitoring of front office processes and procedures and administrative analyst functions. This role serves as a liaison with other departments, ensures a positive and professional work environment where Vail Health Values are lived in accordance with our mission. What you will do:Oversees the daily operations of the non-clinical staff (educator, schedulers, patient representatives) at all Howard Head locations, including but not limited to all registration activities, scheduling, payment collection, and addressing general questions from patients, families, and Vail Health staff as needed. Oversight of non-clinical staff development.Works with Analyst team to ensure correct and timely coding and billing for all Howard Head locations. Assist in the analysis of the different service lines profitability and trends, and guides the organization in appropriately and effectively managing cost, and increasing revenue through the generation and interpretation of accurate clinical and financial data. Maintains Howard Head non-clinical staff schedules in an equitable and fiscally responsible manner. Including PTO and Sick call coverage. In conjunction with Directors will oversee front office budget as appropriate.Manages guidelines, policies and procedures, education modules, ongoing training, and competency oversight for the non-clinical team. In conjunction with the department educator this role will perform training and monitor the training needs of the non-clinical team.Monitors the quality and consistency of non-clinical operations, determine and monitor measures/metrics to evaluate non-clinical operations as it relates to the overall business.Provides leadership and direction to the non-clinical team, including on-boarding, training reviews performance management, delegating, and distributing job assignments, and maintaining a positive and professional work environment. This role will lead with Vail Health Values by communicating constructively with team members, identifying departmental and interdepartmental problems and resolving conflicts appropriately.Collaborates with department leadership on quality improvement initiatives focused on non-clinical operations.Serves as a liaison between therapy staff, non-clinical staff, physicians, office staff, and other departments with constructive, collaborative, and accountable communication.Conducts regular non-clinical team meetings.Able to perform all front office functions when necessary.Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.Perform other duties as assigned.
