The Director of Family Medicine (DFM) is appointed by the President and CEO and is responsible to the CMO as the director of the department of family medicine and is charged with providing leadership to all clinical providers in the specialty of family medicine. The DFM is primarily responsible for supervising the provider staff in their clinical and administrative duties in the Department of Family Medicine. The DFM is a standing member of the Patient Care Executive committee, chaired by the CMO, and is responsible for recommending and implementing clinical policies and procedures, as approved by said committee.
