AdventHealth Orlando is a lush tropical campus and our flagship hospital.
This 1,414-bed hospital serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America.

The role you’ll contribute: The Program Manager for Safety and High Reliability (SHR), under the supervision of the Executive Director of Safety and High Reliability, is responsible for the successful management and execution of strategic initiatives under limited direction. Collaborates with SHR leaders to support the organization and prioritization of safety program initiatives and manage multiple competing SHR projects.Organize and monitor safety initiatives.Tracks progress and reviews program approval activities to make certain benefits and deadlines are met appropriately. Acts as liaison between SHR leaders and key stakeholders.The Program Manager will also be responsible for the development, implementation, management, and evaluation of Critical Events Review Team (CERT) program across AdventHealth Orlando
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Support the SHR team members by planning and monitoring meeting agendas, work calendars and project budgets, working on the projects with cross-functional teams, arranging program activities based on the required deadlines.
Supports the SHR executive director for the following: project management summarization and prioritization, annual strategic planning, regulatory projects, presentation development and other duties as assigned
Responsible for the development, deployment, management, and evaluation of the Critical Events Review Team (CERT) program across AdventHealth Orlando.
Responsible for effectively collaborating and communicating with AdventHealth region/hospital leaders to ensure support is provided for local implementation and evaluation of program.
Responsible for assessing areas of opportunity within each market and conveying recommendations for improvement.
Maintains operations by ensuring compliance with all appropriate internal policies and procedures.
Perform data analysis with problem solving skills and critical thinking.
Responsible for the annual project plan for the safety culture survey including marketing, campus communication, vendor coordination and survey result gathering/distribution
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to motivate others toward common objectives.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives in a matrixed organization.
Exercises sound judgment with an ability to move a plan forward and get results.
Highly engaged, energetic and focused.
Ability to understand major objectives and break them down into meaningful action steps.
Able to effectively balance needs and provide input into decisions that are in the best interests of patients and staff.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work well with staff at all levels of the organization.
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications:
Associates degree in Nursing, Healthcare, Business or Engineering
Licensure, if healthcare related degree (i.e. RN if nursing degree)
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Process Improvement experience
2 years healthcare clinical experience
Six Sigma (or equivalent)
Project Management certification
Change Management certification
