SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Penn State Health Medical Group has an opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner to join the team. The APP will be responsible for office visits and pool messages for the Primary Care Metro Harrisburg Region. The APP will be expected to work out of multiple offices according to schedule, and sometimes at an administrative office location or from home when working pool messages only. During orientation, the APP will begin working out of one-two offices for the first few weeks to build a relationship with the providers within the office, so the APP could then address pool messages, understanding the PCPs desires (i.e. all diabetics should be seen about every 6 months to provide refills. All diabetics should have xyz blood work ordered prior to next visit). The schedule will be day time hours, with the start time being somewhere between 7:30-8:30am and end time between 4:00-5:00pm.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
Master?s degree in Nursing
Currently licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner by State of employment
Two years? prior experience as a nurse required
Basic Life Support (BLS)
