The Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates with the Nurse Manager, assumes responsibility and accountability for the day to day clinical operation and patient flow of the 20 rooms located in the operating room department. This includes the management, supervision and evaluation of care delivered by nursing staff. The Assistant Nurse Manager is also responsible for contributing to the establishment and implementation of evidenced-based nursing standards of practice.
