The Orlando Veterans Affairs Health Care System is recruiting a Chief of Cardiology to lead a vibrant and diverse department providing a broad range of cardiology services to our nation’s Veterans. Experience in Clinical Leadership is highly preferred for this position. The Cardiology Section Chief is responsible for clinical and supervisory oversight of physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and other staff, including recruitment, recommending, and supervising clinical privileges, and staff development. Operational responsibilities include oversight of Cardiology clinics, the Inpatient consultation service, Interventional, Electrophysiology and Non-Invasive Cardiology Diagnostic services as well as Clinical Access and Community Care.
