The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacist- Service Chief to join our team in Houston, TX. The Pharmacist- Service Chief will supervise activities of all pharmacy staff including supervisors, pharmacists, technicians and clerical staff. The Pharmacist- Service Chief will develop new clinical programs, assure the maintenance of appropriate quality patient care, provide quality assurance assessments and medication usage evaluation through performance improvement quality assurance programs. The Pharmacist- Service Chief will be responsible for providing an appropriate work environment for employees to foster improvements in performance.
