JOB SUMMARYThe PACS/RIS Administrator is responsible for the daily operation, management, and improvement of work processes in Diagnostic Imaging, related to the applications used to support Diagnostic Imaging operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEDemonstrates basic level knowledge of concepts, standards, procedures and equipment.Responsible for day-to-day operations and integrity of Imaging based applications & devices including image workflow, equipment and other related activities.Works closely with Imaging personnel to ensure the complete capture of DICOM digital image data into PACS as well as network transmission, RIS validation, and exceptions handling in all necessary applications in a timely manner.
