Women Veterans Program Manager RN
This RN position is located in Women's Health at Wilkes-Barre VA. The Women Veterans Program Manager (WVPM) has responsibility for assessing the needs of women veterans, and then assisting in planning, organizing, and coordinating facility services and programs to meet those needs. The WVPM is primarily responsible for: Promoting positive health behaviors and ensuring health care to women veterans that meets all standards of quality management/ improvement and is efficient and cost-effective. Acting as liaison between women veterans and various VA service providers to meet the needs of women veterans, which may include: compensation, health care, rehabilitation, outreach, and other current and future benefits and programs administered by VA.
