The Patient Safety Manager is a consultant to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and employees on patient safety related issues. The Nurse promotes the organization's mission, vision, and values; assists the staff to be in compliance with customer service, Just Culture, standards and VA policies and procedures. The Patient Safety Manager provides guidance related to patient safety issues, shares lessons learned through appropriate communication channels and involves all members of the health care team in identifying problems, collecting and analyzing data, and resolving care problems of individuals or groups.
