JOB SUMMARYThe Sterile Processing Manager is accountable for managing the activities and staff associated with sterile processing, ensuring that strict and proper procedures are followed for decontamination, sterilization and storage of supplies, equipment and instrumentation utilized. This position is accountable for managing many sites and more than 10 FTEs.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEManages the activities within sterile processing related to the decontamination and sterilization of equipment and instruments and the purchasing, receiving and distribution of surgical supply items.
