Yuma District Hospital has exclusively retained AMN Healthcare to lead a national search to recruit the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The Chief Executive Officer(CEO), in partnership with the Board of Directors, is responsible for strategic long-range planning, program development and modification, and coordination of all activities to carry out the organization’s mission. This position reports to the Board of Directors. Responsibilities include all hospital, clinic and senior services operations. In addition to the operational focus of the role, the CEO will be tasked with leading Yuma’s overall strategy and development. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced healthcare executive to join a dynamic, highly reputable healthcare organization during a time of significant growth and change.
The selected CEO will possess:
A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field with 10 years of senior management experience, five of which are at executive level of Vice President or above. FACHE certification preferred.
Extensive professional and technical knowledge of health care delivery systems, a sound knowledge of marketing, finance and risk assessment and well-developed interpersonal skills. Knowledge and support of fiscal strategic goals through the management of all resources, personnel and other.
Advanced analytical and conceptual skills necessary to research, develop, and implement systems or procedures to enhance the employment experience.
Yuma District Hospital, located in Yuma, Colorado, is a facility that houses acute inpatient health services, including 12 acute care beds, two labor/delivery/post-partum beds, surgical services and 24-hour emergency services. The hospital also has three provider-based rural health clinics; The Yuma Clinic, The Akron Clinic and the Center for Specialty Medicine.
The Yuma Clinic is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) located within the Yuma District Hospital facilities.
The Akron Clinic, staffed by two Board Certified Physicians and one Family Nurse Practitioner, offers laboratory and x-ray services on-site and through the Laboratory and Imaging departments at Yuma District Hospital. Physical Therapy and Home Health Care services are also available. Some Specialty Clinic Services are also available at the Akron Clinic.
The Center for Specialty Medicine offers patients access to regional experts in several specialties. Specialties offered at the clinic include: Audiology, Cardiology, ENT, Hand & Plastics Surgeon, Hematology and Oncology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Psychotherapy, Pulmonology, Spine Specialist, General Surgery & GI Scoping and Cancer Dermatology.
