PACS Administrator Full Time Days Position Summary
Under minimum supervision of the Imaging Informatics Manager and in conjunction with the Imaging Director, the position supports the operations for all of the Radiology and Cardiology Information Systems (RIS, PACS, VR, Interfaces, etc.) functions to meet the needs of the physicians and staff. Other related duties as assigned.
Responsibility
Acts as a key resource for Radiology and Cardiology personnel. Provides RIS, PACS, and other department network/computer training for all personnel as it relates to individual sections. Accountable for the development, implementation, integration and coordination of the radiology and cardiology systems, DICOM modalities, PACS, web servers, teleradiology systems, etc. Accountable for training and updating the radiologists, physicians and hospital staff for the Imaging information systems.
THE PACS ADMINISTRATOR FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE
EDUCATION Required: High school graduate or equivalent Preferred: Associates or Bachelors degree
EXPERIENCE Required: HIS, EMR, RIS systems experience Preferred: management experience
