Job Description
Associate Director, Project Management - Revenue Cycle Optimization
Exciting Opportunity at MSK: We are hiring an Associate Director, Project Management to join our Revenue Cycle Optimization team.
Role Overview:
- Partners across MSK to implement and achieve project goals and objectives.
- Leads on highly visible and complex projects requiring collaboration with senior leaders.
- Provides strategic and tactical guidance and insight for projects that are mission or business critical.
- Responsible for the day-to-day coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with MSK strategy, commitments, and goals.
- In partnership with Senior Leadership, designs, communicates, and implements operational plans for completing projects.
- Monitors progress and performance against project plans.
- Ensures projects stay on schedule and within budget.
- Identifies, develops, and gathers the resources needed to complete projects, which may include preparing design and work specifications.
- Provides leadership and supervision to staff as required which may include hiring, firing, mentoring, and performance management.
Key Qualifications:
- 8 years experience consulting and/or large-scale project/program management experience in healthcare.
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management, including project management techniques and tools.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PMI certification preferred
- Familiarity with Change Management and Process Engineering concepts.
- Experience with Epic a strong plus.
- Experience in data analytics using Cognos, SQL, Python, R, and/or PowerBI preferred.
Core Skills:
- Ability to navigate through various applications/databases.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required, including ability to synthesize and clearly present complex information.
- Demonstrated skills in managing, motivating, and supporting staff with proven results in fostering inclusion and building a collaborative team that drives impact and achieves desired results.
- Track record of developing strong relationships of trust and confidence with senior leaders, peers, and colleagues.
- Ability to influence, and effectively engage with a wide variety of team members.
- Driven optimization and innovation efforts by continuously adapting to changing dynamics.
- Analytical skills to assess operational challenges and opportunities through the use of data.
Additional Information:
- Location: 100% fully remote
- Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm
- Reporting to the Director, Transformational Initiatives
Pay Range: $146,100 - $241,100.00/annually
