Risk Manager (RM) functions as a resource person and consultant for risk-related activities to ensure that Veterans, staff and leadership needs are provided in a safe environment and in a timely manner. The RM is responsible and accountable for the provision of information, education, training, and technical support for all employees related to the Risk Management program. (1) position located in either Hot Springs or Fort Meade, South Dakota. Primary responsibility of the Risk Manager (RM) is to coordinate activities related the practice of Risk Management, including, but not limited to: Risk management support services to VA Black Hill Health Care System (BHHCS) employees and leadership.
