Reporting to the VP, Revenue Integrity, HIM, and Clinical Operations, we are hiring for an exciting new opportunity, the Director of Revenue Integrity (RI). The Director will serve as a critical Revenue Cycle leader in ensuring the accuracy and optimization of charge capture and charge flow within our healthcare organization.
You Will:
- Play a key role in building the Revenue Integrity team and putting processes in place for upcoming EPIC go-live in 2025.
- Collaborate and align with various stakeholders (e.g., senior leaders, department leaders, Clinical owners) across the organization and is accountable for revenue capture for MSKCC, to support the financial well-being of the organization.
- Meet regularly with clinical peers and other revenue producing departments to assure appropriate synchronization between clinical activity, revenue capture, and clinical documentation.
- Build and support effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and organizations.
- Direct all Charge Integrity system support activities and lead the upcoming system testing, go live, and optimization.
- Examine, analyze, and interpret financial reports for the purpose of giving direction on metrics & outcomes, preparing statements and projections, and ultimately managing resources.
- Collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams (Front & Back End) to optimize KPI outcomes.
- Conduct senior-level revenue presentations, and overviews, and make recommendations.
- Create a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for sharing of ideas, debate, and decision resolution.
You Need:
- 3-5 years revenue integrity experience in a complex healthcare environment.
- Epic experience is essential.
- Epic go-Live experience preferred.
- This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of healthcare billing and coding practices, as well as compliance regulations.
- Proven success leading and mentoring teams.
Please note that this is a hybrid role, allowing for flexibility while still ensuring occasional in-person presence in NYC for important meetings and collaboration needs.
