Job SummaryPerform, under the responsibility and supervision of the physician, diagnostic and therapeutic tasks to establish a diagnosis and to plan therapy. Assist in gathering the data necessary in implementing the therapeutic plan of the physician. Act as a patient advocate in the medical care system serving as confidant, advisor, and liaison between the patient and physician.Job DutiesPerforms initial assessment and triage of patients based on information obtained pertinent to presenting condition.Keeps track of pertinent procedure and laboratory results, discusses with physician, and returns call to family and patient regarding the results and plans.Assists with arranging appropriate follow-up for the patients.Answers and return
