Job SummaryJob DutiesPhlebotomist II has at experience and can independently perform venipunctures and skin punctures on all age groups, from neonates through adults, to obtain blood specimens, knowledge of processing specimens for analysis, and the ability to utilize the appropriate computer systems to register patients, facilitate billing, accession laboratory specimens, and provide information. Phlebotomist II is responsible and accountable for performing a wide range of tasks to provide a specimen of highest analytical quality for testing and accurate information for clients, including performing duties to support the goals and objectives to provide quality patient care and patient satisfaction.
