The Director of Facilities at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare (GVMH) is a key leadership role responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and daily operations of facilities across our hospital and clinic system.

This position oversees all aspects of plant operations, including hospital infrastructure, utilities, life safety, and facility compliance, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully operational environment in a 24/7 rural healthcare setting.

What You’ll Lead

• Hospital and clinic facility operations across multiple locations
• Maintenance, utilities, and building systems
• Life safety and regulatory compliance (CMS, Joint Commission, OSHA, NFPA)
• Construction and renovation projects
• Vendor management and contract oversight

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of facilities management experience
• Experience leading or supervising plant operations or facilities teams
• Working knowledge of building systems, utilities, and maintenance operations

Preferred Experience

• Healthcare or hospital facilities experience
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, NFPA, OSHA, and life safety requirements
• Experience managing facility compliance and accreditation readiness
